 | Bob Gilmer Investigator
+Bio
I am a tech and investigator for Wichita Paranormal Research Society. I have always had a fascination with the paranormal. From experiences of seeing apparitions I couldn’t explain to being around people who knew who the caller was before Caller ID, the paranormal has always surrounded me.
While some, as they get older, tend to lose interest in the paranormal, my fascination grew. The more I researched phenomenon, the more I began seeing correlations between different kinds of locations, and certain happenings.
And when I started doing ghost hunting in my local area, I found a passion that I didn’t know I had. Every week, I can hardly contain my excitement to go out, to see what we can find. Every week is a new adventure, and I love every minute of it.

Married for 22 years with no children, by day Sherrie is self employed working as a Broker Associate Realtor with one of the most recognized companies in the USA, including running a great team, then after hours she spends her time trying to prove or disprove things that may go bump in the night, bringing a more feeling, and personal experience aspect to investigations, use of equipment to prove what is going on while remaining skeptical and analytical, providing scientific evidence to the team and clients. | Derek Pinkston Photographer & Investigator
+Bio
Derek is a Systems Administrator by day and a Photographer by night. He has had an interest in the paranormal since the age of 8 after a few strange occurrences. His interest became more serious by the age of 17 when he encountered an abundance of strange activity that could not be explained. These experiences lead him to asking himself a lot of questions.
What's causing these things to happen? Do certain circumstances have any effect on these occurrences? Is there a way to document, study, or prove/disprove the existence of ghosts or spirits?
Derek set out to try to experience and document these paranormal activities and try to come up with other explanations for what was happening. When there were no reasonable explanations left it made him more curious and interested in the paranormal. Given the opportunity to tag along with WPRS and take photos of some of the locations investigated, Derek wanted to show that he could also provide good problem solving skills that would prove useful during investigations. Being a part of WPRS has given Derek the opportunity to put his skills and knowledge to good use. By testing new methods, theories, and instruments, he hopes to be able to find more answers in the paranormal field. |
